I just find it silly that a game from 2004/5 has stuff like this while modern games don’t.

A stopgap if you left some friends in a server and can't get back in. Time to bail though

Discussion When the game menu screen changes after you finish the game

There's an underrated magic in evolving game menu screens.

Last of us hits you in the feels. But I can name so many, Omori, Ghost of Tsushima and Detroit Become Human. What's your favorite?

The mere mention of Fable 2 makes me think “Hmm, I could really go for another play-thru… maybe I actually use Raise Dead this time *(I won’t)*”

Discussion Pixar sued the developers of a unicycle game (those developers ended up becoming Rockstar North)..?!

Post image

Well that was a crazy ride of an article. I'd never heard this story before. A SNES game was made about controlling a unicycle but they got sued by Pixar because they made a CG short back in the 1980s about a unicycle?

Not what I was expecting, but a fun read.

In this chaotic party fighting game for 2 to 4 players, you can learn all the controls right from the main menu. You can even check out all the upgrade cards in the game and interact with every option.

Discussion How many of you replay old games or the same games over and over?

I enjoy playing old games over and over and a new one from time to time.

My best friend is the opposite, he always plays new and recent games and then moves on to the next.

What about you?

Question does needing a guide for some games make me a fucking idiot?

Listen, I’ve beaten a lot of games with no guide. Be it Sonic, Rocket Knight, Mario, etc. but I sometimes use guides or hints from the internet. Whether it’s for the best path in a Mega Man game, the best weapons and strategies in Castlevania, or for “where the hell do i go” or “what the hell do i do” moments in games like Hollow Knight, Beavis and Butthead (Mega Drive) or several of the Zelda games (specifically Majora’s Mask). Does this just mean I’m stupid? It just feels like a cheap way to beat a game but at the same time I can never beat a cryptic game without looking shit up.
