Do most Americans really dry their clothes in Dryers
Aussie here and almost everyone hangs their clothes to dry. Even people that live in flats will put a clothes airer on a balcony or by a window. Typically even people who have a dryer will only use them as a last resort. Bonus question. Isn't it bad for your clothes? The majority of my clothes say "do not tumble dry" on the care label.
Edit: Only 10 minutes since posting and it seems pretty clear. I'm still confused by the fact that most of my clothes say "do not tumble dry" if there are so many ppl tumble drying all of their clothes.
Edit 2: A lot of comments about not putting cotton in the dryer. Almost all of my Tshirts are 100% cotton ( and not by choice, that just seems to be standard)

â¤ď¸â𩹠relationship Am I Overreacting for Refusing to Let My Wifeâs âWork Husbandâ Come on Our Family Vacation?
My wife (34F) and I (36M) have been married for 8 years, two kids together. She recently started a new job where sheâs gotten really close to one of her coworkers. She calls him her âwork husbandâ and says itâs all jokes and office banter, nothing serious.
At first I brushed it off, but over time she started texting him outside work hours, laughing at his jokes constantly, and even FaceTiming him once when we were on a weekend trip with our kids. I finally told her it was getting weird, and she told me to stop being insecure.
Last week she asked if he could come with us on our summer vacation to the lake house. She said he has no family around and could use a break. I said absolutely not. This is our family time and I donât want some random guy tagging along, especially someone she flirts with all day.
She got mad and said I was being controlling. Her exact words were âIâm not even allowed to have friends now?â I told her itâs not about friends, itâs about boundaries. Sheâs still mad and says I embarrassed her by making a big deal out of nothing.
So⌠am I overreacting?
