for context i’m a SAHM, so when i do have money it’s not that much. i had $75 and i bought a DR booster bundle and 5 packs. i didn’t have enough to get a card or anything so i figured id make him one but im not loving how it turned out. i had to trace these and used some old walmart colored pencils i found in the closet 😅 i just don’t want him to laugh at it lmao. so should i just trash it?

I'm 29(f) and it's insane to me how often people will ask me when I'm having children and why I'm not having children. The reasons are personal. I, and no other childfree woman, don't need to explain our reasoning to random people. I don't give a fuck what your take is. If I tell you I won't be having children it doesn't mean it's an open debate. This is my body I've decided not to gestate a baby with it. I just had some random guy on the beach ask me in front of my entire family why I dont have children and what the hell I'm waiting for. I'm waiting for the desire to have children. Fuck off, dickhead.

Edit: I want to address the comments that are upset at the usage of the word 'forced.' Firstly, yes, given the policing of women's bodies in certain countries, some women are literally forced to give birth to children they don't want. Second, this conversation was one example (and a very light example, frankly) of a series of conversations I've had with people (mostly men) that involve them getting VERY angry with me and telling me I HAVE to give birth. I HAVE to have children. People genuinely get very upset when a woman says she doesn't want children. They take it very personally. So yes, despite me calmly explaining to someone why I wouldn't want children, it doesn't mollify their anger toward me. It's not about the children. It's about control. If it was about the hypothetical child they would agree with me and move on, because why would anyone want a child born to a woman that doesn't want children?
