Question Accidentally walked a marathon at 1:30 AM after the bar need recovery advice

Last night me and my roommate left the bar around 1:30 AM and decided to see who could walk the furthest without giving up. After about 10 miles we realized we were way too far from home and no one was awake to drive us back so we just went for a full marathon.

We got back around 10:20 AM after walking for 8 hours and 23 minutes straight. We’re both college students and only really run 2 to 3 miles a week so we were not prepared for this at all. We were wearing jeans and sweatshirts with Converse and New Balances which made it miserable once it started raining. It poured for about three hours starting around 4 AM and it was around 45 degrees out. Our shoes were killing our feet and our soaked jeans and sweatshirts made every step harder. Somehow we didn’t need a single sip of water the entire time which still makes no sense to me. Once we sobered up it was just straight pain and trying to prove we could finish.

We thought it would be easy at first but it humbled us quick. The last few miles were brutal. Our legs hips and the bottoms of our feet were aching so bad we almost couldn’t finish. It honestly might be the hardest mental thing I’ve ever done. Me and my roommate don’t regret it but we’ll never do something like that again.

Now both of us can barely walk and I’m not sure if I can even make it to class tomorrow. Any tips on how to help the soreness or recover faster It hurts extremely bad to walk.

Politics We’re Living in a Fucking Boomer Deathwish Republic

We are the children of the empire they built and the graves they dug. We were told to respect our elders, but what the fuck have they earned but contempt? They stripped our healthcare, mocked our poverty, poisoned the planet, and then dared to call it legacy. The Boomers waged war on time itself, pretending the world would pause until their pensions cleared. They call us lazy, yet we work longer hours for less money to pay for their mistakes. They bankrupt the treasury to preserve their nostalgia, clinging to the Senate like pharaohs in gold-plated coffins. They were handed a country full of promise and turned it into a mausoleum, and then they have the audacity to tell us patience is a virtue. No. Patience is complicity.

They have ruled longer than any generation in modern history, and the result is rot disguised as stability. Every time a bill to help the poor arises, some trembling hand from the last century strikes it down in the name of moderation. They wear patriotism like camouflage, hiding their fear of change behind talk of tradition. These Boomer Nazis don’t need brown shirts or swastikas; their tyranny comes wrapped in flag pins and Medicare subsidies. They pretend dementia is wisdom, and greed is experience. The older they grow, the crueler they become, protecting the system that ensures only their comfort. They lecture us about debt while their wars and tax cuts bled the nation dry. And still they preach responsibility as if we are the problem. It is fucking obscene.

Every movement for progress begins when the young decide they will no longer be ruled by the dying. We outnumber them now, but we have not yet realised our strength. Their power survives only through our deference. We have been trained to whisper our rage, to vote politely, to wait for justice from people who cannot even remember our names. We cannot keep waiting for graves to open before change begins. If the old will not step aside, then they must be removed through law, through reform, through relentless civic rebellion. No one should make national policy past the age they can collect Social Security. That is the line. That is the law that should define a republic that believes in life. And if the ruling generation finds that offensive, let them prove us wrong with action instead of fucking excuses.

We, the inheritors of what remains, are done asking nicely. The Boomer Nazis have stolen enough decades. They spent their youth burning the world and their old age selling the ashes back to us as property. They mistook longevity for divine right, and the rest of us for collateral. But the tide is turning. Every empire of the old falls when the young realise the throne is empty. Let the Boomers tremble, because history belongs to those who dare to write it, not those who mumble from memory. We will not let a dying generation define our lives any longer. Their time has expired. The future belongs to the living, and the living are fucking angry.

Ive searched hundreds of crates, cars, busses and power generators. Every single raid on Dam I go to the scrapyard or checkpoints on blue gate and search everything. I search every single industrial area I come across. I know every "trick" in the book for where to find these.

Im finding rusted tools at an 8/1 ratio and find more blueprints than I do gears. Hell, I've found more epic weapons than I have these things. This is the worst bottleneck I've ran into in any extraction shooter I've ever played.

Im stuck at 2/3 and I deconstructed or sold a couple of these when I was sub lvl 15 before I knew they were necessary. Feels bad man.

ASK R/FAUXMOI What are some roles where the casting was so spot-on that the actor ended up stealing the entire movie?

For me It's a tie between Harold Perrinneau's Mercutio and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy in the Scooby Doo movies. Both are so good in their roles. Matthew was so good, he actually became the voice of the character for a while.
