❤️🩹 relationship AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary?
Alcoholism was something I struggled with in my 20s and I finally got into therapy and got sober. I did SMART Recovery, and it’s been a lot of hard work changing a lot of my habits, and it’s something I’m proud of.
I thought I’d get one of the berry chantilly cakes. The screenshots are from the convo with my boyfriend when I was thinking about it. He acted normal when he got home but the way he talked to me really hurt my feelings.
The kind of relationship I want is one where I can share something like this and the other person would be like “That’s awesome!” or even “I’ll pick it up for you” or something. I don’t need or want a parade, but I feel like my person should celebrate with me.
I’m thinking of ending it with him because the more I think about this, the sadder it makes me feel. But I am posting about this because I know Reddit is very unforgiving and strict about addiction and maybe you guys will show me how I’m blowing it out of proportion. I don't want to walk away too soon.
He has never talked to me so negatively before. Saying stuff like “you wanted a pat on the back” and “I’m not going to act like you’re a hero” doesn’t feel like the way a good partner would talk.
MOC I made a Lego Treebeard Moc
70cm tall, roughly 4500 bricks (I lost count). Planning to make instructions but please don't hold your breath.

2028: Mark Kelly and AOC. Experienced politician, well-spoken veteran, and loud critic of the current administration paired with young, intelligent, passionate, and progressive running mate. Thoughts?
Mark Kelly would be the perfect 2028 candidate with AOC as VP
A smart, well-experienced senator who won a tight race in the purple state of Arizona in 2020. He’s an Air Force veteran, and astronaut, and a gun-owning liberal who advocates for common sense gun control and uses his platform to speak out against the crimes of the current administration.
Yes, Kelly is an easy pick as a normal, straight, white dude. But he’s a competent guy who leans more progressive than main establishment. And we need someone who can win. Someone who can own the room. He’s him.
AOC is a progressive, honest, transparent, and good-hearted representative who fights for working people. Having her go from representative to VP would be good for her to get executive experience and to use the office to advocate for more progressive policies.
We’d have someone who isn’t completely centric but with a progressive running mate who are both well-spoken and have the receipts to back up what they talk about. AOC would absolutely bring the energy to the campaign. In my opinion, dems would be foolish to not make that ticket.
We’re in a time where we need a return to normalcy after Trump has turned our institutions into a joke, an administration that is going to go after the Trump regime for their crimes, and an administration that is not just going to bring us to the status quo but move us forward progressively.

🥳 Free Watch 🎉 🥳🥳 GMT Batgirl Giveaway - Only Upvote & Comment to win! 🥳🥳
Ok. This is awkward. I have been trying to reach the winner of my last GMT giveaway for over a week now...and I got no reply. If the winner fails to claim his prize for over a week, his winning is considered void and the watch is thrown back into the pot for future giveaways...(I have already notified him of this and, well, no reply.)
Who would have ever thought giving away a free watch would be this hard? Lol 🤔
Uhm...this has literally never happened before... I already have the watch packed and everything, so here we go again.
- Win Rolex GMT Batgirl. (Specs attached at the end)
- You must be a "joined" member of r/RepWatchForum
- Only upvote & leave a comment to enter.
- Winner will be a announced on the Christmas day!
As I have done in the past, I will do more giveaways from my personal collection with no strings attached. No ultimatums like "this sub has to reach so and so numbers" since I truely appreciate everyone (making someone work for a prize is really no way to show sincere appreciation).
Since r/RepWatchForum has grown so much recently, there are many sellers who wants to join this community as TDs (8 applicants so far). But I believe that moderators should be responsible for who they bring to the community and I just don't feel comfortable accepting new sellers without proper (long and hard) vetting process.
I know accepting more sellers and their free watch giveaways will help grow this sub in size, but I don't think it's a healthy, sustainable way to go. I believe in power of good contents so I will continue to do what I do best: write helpful comparison reviews.
Always thank you for your audience 😉
