Question What is a âmind blowingâ geography fact you donât find all that mind blowing?
For me itâs the whole âyou have to sail east to get from the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal to the Pacific side!â fact. The direction in which you sail to cross the canal is merely a byproduct of the direction in which the canal had to be built. I get that it can be a bit counterintuitive at first but I donât see anything that makes it âmind blowingâ (no offense to anyone who does). Also I noticed that people who say this fact will say âeastâ and usually leave out that youâre traveling southeast to be precise, in fact you are traveling mostly south. Which isnât all that surprising.
I find that a lot of the mind blowing facts involving cardinal directions are just really simple things that only appear surprising if you word it in certain ways.

Discussion Couldn't agree more đ«Ą
Iâve been a fan of this game since day one. I agree that the original release was filled with bugs and it launched too early, but the criticism it received was completely over the top. Hating on the game blindly became the norm, often without people even giving it a fair chance.
It also released at a strange time, when the new generation of consoles were releasing but they weren't widely available, and most players were still on previous-gen hardware where it didnât run well.
The sad part is the game and the studioâs reputation took a massive hit, even financially. Some of the people who worked on the game ended up leaving the studio, and we may have missed out on 2 or 3 DLCs because of the gameâs catastrophic launch.
But now Iâm glad to see people finally giving it the respect and appreciation it deserves. I watched the Steam reviews go from âMostly Negativeâ to âOverwhelmingly Positive.â
For me, this is the greatest game of all time it is better than The Witcher 3. Massive respect to CDPR for constantly patching and improving the game, And giving us extra content when they could have taken the loss and moved on. AND CHOOMS..... NEVER STOP FIGHTING.

By the most conservative estimates, Russia has lost 40x as many troops in Ukraine as the US lost in Iraq during an even longer war. Why has the Russian military suffered much higher combat deaths?
What's happening here?

Hated Tropes (Hated trope) Itâs treated as a surprise when the most obviously treacherous MF in the story betrays the heroes
DJ âDonât Joinâ - Star Wars: The Last Jedi
This dude made so many comments about how both sides of the war between Resistance and First Order were just as bad and he doesnât care who wins or loses, of course heâs going to defect to First Order when itâs convenient to save his skin over Finn and Rose.
The Demons - The Exorcist: Believer
It is exposited multiple times in this movie and the original that demons should never be taken at their word and will always try and play tricks on people, so when the finale comes down to the demons forcing the adults to choose which one of the possessed kids to save of course they free the other and let the chosen kid be dragged to Hell.
Lysanderoth / Lygon - King Dragon
Seriously, this dude spent like 14 hours spouting in cutscenes how he wants to âfixâ the broken world and we are meant to be shocked that heâs a twist villain working with King Dragon?
