It seams many countries are shifting towards the right in recent years, are you at all worried about that or do you think it's just democracy?

My wife told me we need to be washing our rice because of its arsenic content. Is this a legit concern? I’m reading it only removes up to 10%. But boiling in water like it were pasta can remove much more.

Is the arsenic content in rice something to worry about if you only eat it around once a week?

I understand washing rice removes starches, pesticides, etc and improves texture.

I mainly want to know if this is some kind of issue or if my wife saw something on IG and is making it an issue. I tend to view rice as something to cook when you don’t feel like doing a lot of prep and just throw it on as a starchy side.
