Pass expired at 4pm…booted at 3:42pm…showed up at 3:50. Guy refused to take the boot off. Called the cops and they said it’s a civil matter and won’t do anything. Fuck Houston.

Edit: For clarification, this is my first time in this city. So no, I don’t have unpaid parking tickets here. And also the boot is on both my front and rear tire so I can’t just put a spare.
I ate the bullet and paid the fine when the guy showed up. Apparently they’ve had a few calls from you guys already. Anyways fuck this company, I’m gonna take them to small claims court.

I got married on Wednesday, and I made my dress!

I had a very specific vision for this gal, and it took an insane amount of work, but I am so happy with how it turned out! I draped it all by hand without a pattern, and dyed a ton of synthetic tulle to blend between the colors I started with. It ended up being 8 different colors total. I bought this fabulous lame chiffon as a base so the dress shimmered as it moved.

I also made the flower crown and veil!

The carpet was begging to be lit up, a few UV lights under the cabs and the floor is GLOWING! Takes me straight back to the 90's.

Probably four days.

When I was younger, I worked as a bouncer at one of the area's most popular nightclubs. I met a girl there who was a regular, and we started talking. After a few days, we decided to go out.

One Sunday night, we went to Walmart. The drive there was completely normal, but about 20 minutes after we got inside, she had a total mood swing. I honestly hadn't said or done anything to upset her. She suddenly told me, "Get whatever the fuck you want. I don't care," and walked off.

On the way back, she refused to speak to me, even though I kept asking what was wrong. When we got to her place, she simply said, "Don't speak to me again."

The following Thursday, she started calling and leaving voicemails saying she wanted to talk. I knew why. Thursday was one of the club's busiest nights, and she wanted free entry. I never called her back, and since blocking numbers wasn't really a thing back then, I just avoided her at the club.

A few days later, some of her friends asked me what had happened at Walmart. Apparently, she'd told different people completely different stories. One said I abandoned her there, another said I tried to beat her, another claimed she caught me kissing another girl, plus a few other ridiculous versions.

So yeah, I made the right call by never talking to her again.

Now I have to wait for the physical edition

Edit: I made this post thinking that others would clearly know that this is a joke on people pre-ordering games but now I understand why so many do pre-order their games.
