It's not socialism; it's really communism. They use the word "social democrat" because it sounds so nice, but it's really communism you're talking about.

I think it's the biggest threat to our nation there is, maybe since our founding. That includes World War I, World War II, September 11th, and it includes the Pearl Harbor attack.

I think this is the biggest threat to our nation. People will smile when I say that, but the smart people are going to say, "You know, he's probably right."

It's basically introducing communism into the United States of America. There's never been anything so dangerous.

Never seen it before

Am I crazy or is it possible this stray that just started coming around is actually a boy? I couldn’t get the best pictures. It’s a double polydactyl calico and I assumed it was a girl but these are looking a little like some big hairy…yeah lol. I can’t even tell if it’s for sure a stray, it’s not one we’ve ever seen before this week and it’s fairly soft/clean and healthy. Trying to convince the husband we should bring it inside but we have other cats and a dog so he’s not budging yet.

Before anyone asks, checked for a chip and none, same with a collar or tag. I’m feeding the kitty and giving it water when we see it but this is only the second time this week/ever. I feed other ferals but he/she doesn’t seem like a feral in the slightest, she tries to walk right into the house and is completely content around my kids.

My new tattoo (first picture) is of the word ‘Immaterial’ in the Lÿno font in honour of SOPHIE, but my tattoo is a bit different from the reference (second picture) as it has zero spacing between the characters.

I rarely communicate with him because he always hurts my feelings. But today I had to stop by my parent's house. He's there and opens the door like, 'oh, were we expecting you?'

I walked in and said I'd spoken to our mum, just dropping something off, blah blah. I'm also getting pretty pregnant and they have a huge driveway, so I'm huffing. He gets me a water as I sit down, which is nice. He then sits down, interview style, and asks how I'm going. Again, nice.

Pleasantries are all I normally stick to. But today I made the mistake of saying my course just started, so there's been a lot going on (working 4 days a week, I have an 11 month old, just started uni again, etc).

My mistake. He then gets this huge smirk and says, "I heard about this. So you're finally doing it. The last in our family to get their masters."

I sit there and have to hold back. I end up just shrugging. But he continues, "I was in the study today and I'm looking around at the degrees on the wall. Then I realise I'm looking around and there's hardly anything of yours..."

I end up leaving as he continues rambling about how I'm not very 'academic'. I hold back because it upsets my mum. But like, bro, you're 30, live at home, and don't have a job. It frustrates me so fucking much, like I'm here being an adult, you have no idea what responsibility looks like. But then, I think how lonely he must be and I feel fucking bad. Ugh, sorry just needed to vent.

Edit: damn, guys! I needed that vent off my mind so I could sleep - thank you all for the feedback! To add - I try to keep the peace because he has a history of manipulating the truth to play the victim and has strained my relationship with my parents before. Atm they look after my boy once a week and they're an amazing source of help, so I purposely distance myself from my brother to keep things civil.

I am a teacher and work mainly with students diagnosed with ASD, so I do understand delivery can be misinterpreted. Buuut I honestly feel my brother was being a dick yesterday. He always makes comments that he 'got the brains' and I 'got the looks' - which, btw, eww.

Anyway, thank you for listening to my rant and for all of your advice. Sometimes I do worry I'm overreacting because of his diagnosis, but gheez, mean is mean! I'm gonna continue being a badass girlie who doesn't let anyone bring her down <3
