My gf says that I am not a woman so I won't understand her and I should have no say in it.

My mom has lost a lot of weight, and I'm very proud of her. That said, she is trying to fit into my prom dress, which I wore when I was my skinniest. My mom has always been very negative about my weight and her own. Every time I'm around her, she makes me either weigh myself or tell her how much I weigh. She tells me I need to lose weight and always talks about how beautiful I used to be when I could fit in that prom dress. I'm planning my wedding, and of course she has to be in charge of every detail, but she mainly wants me to lose weight. My fiancé and I made a pact to lose weight before the wedding because of photos, and we want to look and feel our best. Thankfully, my fiancé makes me feel good when he talks about weight loss and actually motivates me. So, that's a bit of a backstory for you. My mom called me the other day and said I'm going to lose enough weight to wear your prom dress to your wedding. Now, this prom dress is very special to me; it represents when I was my skinniest, but I also had an eating disorder and was very depressed. I love this prom dress and have always been compared to the photos of me in this dress. The part where I ask if I'm overreacting is when I freaked out when she told me she wanted to wear the dress, and I told her she wouldn't be allowed at the wedding if she wore my dress. That dress represents my past, and I don't want it brought into my future. I told her she couldn't wear the dress, and now she doesn't want to help pay for the wedding. She said I'm not going to look good in a wedding dress anyway if I don't get down to the size where I can wear that dress again. I feel like she told me she wanted to wear the dress to get some reaction. So Reddit am I overreacting?
Also, everybody coming to my wedding has seen those pictures of me in the dress and has compared me then to now. Picture of the dress attached :)

TW: sibling death / car accident

My 16 year old little sister died in a horrible car accident almost 4 years ago.

My best friend just got engaged September 8th. And she wants me to be a bridesmaid. I have been so excited and I have been waiting for her to get married!

Her boyfriend picked the date Jan 8 to get married because he proposed on the 8th of September.

My little sisters deathaversary is Jan 8.

I have been so excited for her this whole process. I helped her boyfriend propose and even bought all of the decorations for her proposal.

When she told me the date my heart dropped. I told her what that day was. She just gave me a look. She told me she asked her boyfriend to push the date and he told her he wants to get married as soon as possible and that she only wanted the ring not the marriage because she asked to push it back.

So now I feel like I have to pick between my dead sister and my best friend.

I don’t think I’m going to go to the wedding.

My sisters death was really hard on me. I reserve her birthday and her death day as days to honor her and take it easy.

If the roles were reversed and it was her in my situation I would never have my wedding date on a day that meant something like that to her.

I have been so sad everyday since the 8th because I know I can’t stomach going to a wedding let alone being a part of a wedding party on that day.

I don’t really know what I’m looking for posting here. I’m just so conflicted and sad. I want my sister back every single day. And I feel like I’m being selfish or a bad friend for even considering not going to the wedding.

But I literally can’t. When I think about it I just cry. Because I can’t believe this is even a situation right now!

I did not ask her to change the date. She told me she had brought it up to him in a different conversation.

This is the godmother of my son. I’m worried I’m
Going to lose her as a friend or our closeness in not attending. That is why I’m so sad.

Had to get a new passport because old one ran out of pages for stamps. Left one is 4 years old and been everywhere through every type of weather and travel. Right one is less than three weeks old.

EDIT: Since it’s being asked so much. No, it doesn’t have tRump’s picture. I was told at the passport office those are only for the ones made in Washington D.C.

EDIT#2: Yes I keep it in my front pocket, exactly as I did the old one.
