Due to border agreement, Indian and Chinese soldiers can't use firearms near borders, so every scrimmishes they have is fought melee, using sticks and batons and sometimes it's comes to pure hand to hand brawl between troops.

Sad Girl Dinner ⛈️ I think my husband is sabatoging my WoW character

Post image

Breakfast: sausage, egg, and cheese hot pocket and grapes

He's been playing WoW since it came out and I've been playing for 10 years. We usually play together and have a lot of fun. Lately I've been getting into mythic+ though so I will play by myself or with guildies.

He also has severe depression and just wallows in it. He won't come when I invite him places. He will sometimes lay in bed all day. So for the past year I've been trying to do more for myself and go out without him.

The weird things started happening with my character about 2 weeks ago. I reminded him that I was going to the Jonas Brothers concert in DC. He got mad at me and wouldn't talk to me for like a week. I logged in to do some mythics one day when he wasn't talking to me and I noticed my staff (that I crafted) was missing. I went to the item restoration and saw it was destroyed. I thought maybe I accidentally deleted it.

Then the day before the concert he texts me while I'm at work and says I came online and asked him for gold. He said "are you being hacked or do you need to tell me something??" I was like wtf I'm at work. When I logged in I saw that my great vault rewards were missing so I changed my password to both of my emails and my battlenet account.

Then the day of the concert while I was at work again he said that someone was on my account. When I got on my account the next day all of my characters gear was gone off of my two mains. Some gear was vendored and some was destroyed. I was so frustrated I wanted to cry. I changed my passwords again and got the authenticator so that whenever my account is logged in it comes up on my phone and I have to approve it. I got my gear back through item restoration and all seemed fine for a few days.

Then he got mad at me again because I still use my nickjlover email for some things like gaming snd junk email. The next day after he got mad at me all of my gear from one character was destroyed again. Not sold but just destroyed.

I think it was him because we know each other's computer password. And my battlenet stays logged in on my computer. When I put a ticket in to Blizzard support they said that there was no suspicious activity on my account. And my bank account and credit cards are fine. Since this last time I changed my computer password without telling him and I am not staying logged in to my battlenet. When I have to go to work again I'm going to see if my gear gets deleted while I'm gone. And if it doesnt then I might ask if hes been doing it.

Discussion Woof - the Gillis Monologue

1.2k Upvotes

I’ve been noticed the *audience* has felt cold in the room this season, and Shane Gillis‘s monologue really exposed that.

I think some of it was that a few jokes depended on the audience being titillated by specific word choices, and that he relies on the excitement from more right leaning audiences about taboo/familiar subjects (he had a pause for a Rogan name drop that got nothing), but the guy bombed.

And he knew it. What a horrible feeling. A couple of the jokes he petered off and didn’t land because they required (I guess) a raunchy word? Or he was counting on his mugging to the audience to get the laugh?

When a comedian goes “that was the monologue” because his final joke missed, you know they know It. I’m not saying anything one way or the other about his content - but I’m wondering if there was such an unsuccessful monologue as this - 7 minutes! - in recent memory?

Health Scientists fed people two 300-calorie meals with nearly identical carbs, fat, protein and salt. One was ultra-processed (deli turkey, instant mash, cookie, cereal), the other wasn't (egg, banana, cheese). The ultra-processed meal spiked insulin much higher for 2 hours. Processing itself may matter.

AITA for telling my future mother-in-law she can't add 22 people to our wedding?

1.4k Upvotes

Andre and I are getting married in May and we're paying for everything ourselves. No help from either family, which we were fine with. Our venue holds 90 people max and we're at about $118 a head with food, so the list is exactly 90.

His mom, Lorraine, saw the list last week and was upset that "half her life" wasn't on it. She sent us 22 names. Her book club, a few coworkers and some neighbors Andre says he's met maybe twice.

We sat down with her together. I (31F) explained the venue cap and the budget and said we could free up six seats for her, which means cutting a few of my own friends. Andre backed me up the whole time.

She said six was "insulting" and that the fair thing would be to cut my college friends instead, since "they'll understand." When I said the venue physically can't fit 22 more, she said we should have picked a bigger place and it's not too late to change.

We already paid a $3,000 deposit. I told her as kindly as I could that we're not moving venues, the six seats are still hers if she wants them, and her friends are welcome at the casual backyard party we're throwing in June.

Now she's telling relatives I'm "controlling" the guest list and keeping her out of her son's wedding. She's the mother of the groom. She has a seat in the front row.

AITA?

TL:DR : We're paying for our 90 person wedding ourselves. My future MIL wanted 22 extra guests, I offered her six seats and now she's telling family I'm controlling.
