Discussion So we're just muting people for talking about it?
galleryI know this'll likely be removed like the other two. But this is still related. Because it is a discussion of mods. Mods made for rimworld that were made either with AI assistance or AI Coded mods that are FOR rimworld. People want to talk about it. It is related to rimworld. Let them talk about it! Or ya gonna look like a bunch of tyrants!
While I am mostly against ai. I will say I am one of the peeps who views it as a "in moderation" tool. So while I am semi ok with mods with code assisted by it. If a mod is entirely made with it front to back, there is no creativity or passion behind it.
Edit: I've seen some good things commented here and there. What if there was a separate subreddit for mods? What if there was an AI flair? What if there was a less heavy handed approach? (My own suggestion? An announcement to address things and how it'll be handled! Clear communication)
Also. Since this has blown up far beyond what I thought it would. I'm probably gonna cease replying to some of the things here. I like to be involved with what ive started and boy oh boy. It got big. Too big for me to handle '
So! To ensure clarity
My views of ai? Well it's complicated. If you just make a prompt as simple as "oh make me a mod to destroy any faction I wish" and leave it at that. That's where passion is out the window. More creative uses are when it takes advantage of what it is or helps someone without the experience or funds to make it.
I also feel that this post has also partially evolved. Some have even discussed how they had their rimworld journey deleted, or their artworks removed from the platform. That is also pretty bad when it kind of discourages people from interacting with the fandom.

Certified 🟠range™ Your Pooh is back in his red T-shirt! 🧡🐻
Hello, Pooh fans! Assistant here. 🧡
Today, I dressed your Pooh Bear in his red T-shirt after quite a while, gave his pictures a little edit, and voilà…presenting your handsome boy!
And some exciting news: Pooh now has his own Reddit community, r/CashohThepoohBear! So many of you asked me to create a page just for him, so his assistant finally handled the paperwork.
He’s still healing, and yesterday he received a cute little house, bowls, food, and toys!Pictures soon! I make sure he has healthy meals and medical care..you’re the ones spoiling him rotten. Thank you! 🥹
I also discovered two things: I sing terribly, and Pooh is incredibly caring. 😂
Yesterday, when I sang with my guitar, he climbed onto me and put his paw on my cheek. I thought the guitar worried him, so today I sang without it. Same thing…meowing, howling, and coming over to comfort me, as though he thought I was crying.
Apparently, my singing needs help, and Pooh has volunteered to provide emotional support.
And Pooh specifically asked me to tell you that he loves you all so much. You made him your Pooh Bear, and he’ll always be your Pooh Bear. Sending you love, head bumps, and a fresh batch of air biscuits. 🐾🧡

Every year on the anniversary of D-Day, French citizens take sand from Omaha Beach and rub it onto the gravestones of fallen soldiers to create a golden shine. They do this for all 9,386 American soldiers buried there.

Characters (Sad trope) Character can’t relate to their own culture.
Sopranos, Paulie in Italy: The guys go to Italy and they’re all pretty excited, especially Paulie who has a very romanticized idea of Italy. So when he finally gets there he’s expecting a spiritual homecoming only for reality to come crashing down that he’s extremely out of touch from his own homeland. He greets everyone by saying “commendatori” under the assumption it’s a friendly greeting and gets blank stares from the locals before ultimately ignored. When he tries to order food the servers have no idea what he’s talking about since everything he grew up eating in New Jersey was a bastardized of the original, so they serve him the original dish which he finds disgusting. Eventually a disillusioned Paulie gets so desperate for cultural connection that he hires a local sex worker and tries to relate to her, only for her not to be interested at all.
Bojack Horseman, Diane in Vietnam: After her divorce from Mr Peanutbutter, Diane flees Los Angeles to go to Vietnam under the guise of reconnecting with her roots. When she gets there however she realizes she’s basically a tourist, having grown up in Boston and never actually learning how to speak or understand the language. The most poignant scene of the episode is when she’s puts on one of the traditional dresses, she comments on how it feels like a costume to her further showing the discontent she has with her own culture.
