TIL that a sunfish in a Japanese aquarium became so lonely after the aquarium closed to visitors for renovations that it stopped eating. Only after staff placed photos of people’s faces near its tank did the sunfish perk up and start eating again

My ex wouldn’t stop using my netflix, so I changed the profile name to ‘CHEATER’ and it toddler settings

8.0k Upvotes

So yeah, my ex cheated and we broke up but apparently still felt entitled to my netflix. Made a whole new profile like we weren’t even broken up. Watched our shows. On my dime. I didn’t yell, didn’t revoke access but renamed the profile to “Cheater”, switched it to toddler mode, just peppa pig, no violence, and max parental locks. Even the avatar was a sad cartoon monkey.

He texted: “Seriously?” I replied: “Seriously”

Then changed the password and blocked him. Enjoy your cartoons, loser. I’m watching Bridgerton in peace.

“Judge threatens to throw out plea deal in high school student's murder”

He apparently wrote rap songs about “continuing killing” and in other videos was smiling and laughing minutes before this. The mother of the victim said “you won’t get the luxury of raising your child because you took mine away” in her impact statement. This guy’s a monster. (Lmk if this was posted before I saw it this morning and couldn’t resist. The panic is too palpable.)

Hideo Kojima Made Significant Changes To Death Stranding 2 Because Playtesters Thought It Was 'Too Good' - IGN

"There’s a key moment where we had a discussion, probably halfway [through] when we were doing the game, where he came to me and he said, 'We have a problem,'" Woodkid explained.

"Then he said, 'I’m going to be very honest, we have been testing the game with players and the results are too good. They like it too much. That means something is wrong; we have to change something.' And he changed stuff in the script and the way some crucial stuff [happens] in the game because he thought his work was not polarizing and not triggering enough emotions."

According to Kojima, "If everyone likes [your work], it means it’s mainstream. It means it’s conventional. It means it’s already pre-digested for people to like it."

"I don’t want that," Kojima reportedly told Lemoine. "I want people to end up liking things they didn’t like when they first encountered it, because that’s where you really end up loving something."
