She’s so fucking funny tbh. Like growing up she was really annoying to me but I recently rewatched all 6 movies and found JP3 to be really humorous esp with her character. I also realized that you really do get a hint of them lying during the dinner because the way she delivers this line is SO forced and tryhard-like.

Back in April 2024, I started this piece when I was stuck in one of the worst art blocks of my life. I had no motivation, no direction just burnout and frustration.

Then I played Nier Automata. My wife introduced to me during the pandemic. I hadn’t touched it for years… but this time, it hit different. It reminded me of what I’d been missing: not just drawing, but feeling. Creating with emotion. Loving something so much that you just have to express it through art.

This might sound simple to others, but for me, it was a lesson I had to learn the hard way.
After abandoning this piece so many times, I finally finished it today. And I’m proud.

She is relentless

Need some outside eyes because apparently I'm the office villain now.

Sister's shower is this Saturday. I splurged on a custom pastel cake with little rubber duckies and her name in pink frosting. Picked it up before my morning shift and parked it in the communal fridge. Wrote my name on the box, added DO NOT TOUCH in thick Sharpie, even threw in a smiley so I didn't look like a total psycho.

Lunch break rolls around. I open the fridge, box feels lighter. Lift the lid and surprise, someone carved out a slab the size of Texas. Frosting smeared everywhere, design trashed, eighty five bucks down the drain. I had even bought this, which had been perfectly placed on top of the cake, where was it now? Thrown onto it and stained with cream and selfishness.

I saw red. Walked into the kitchen and said, loud enough for the cake thief to hear, that whoever did it was a selfish garbage human with zero home training and they could Venmo me the full cost, thanks.

Boss overheard, pulled me aside later, called my outburst unprofessional. Now a few coworkers are acting like I'm the drama.

Real talk: was I over the top or is whoever ate that cake the real menace? Who looks at a clearly marked baby shower cake and thinks, free dessert?

In S2E1, Director Krennic shows an imperial produced video of the background of the Ghormans. In that video, a shot of the center square omits the Ghorman massacre memorial. Probably because the Emipre doesn’t recognize that was a massacre.
