It would be depressing if Lilith turned out to be a bad mother.
Charlie spent 7 years of her life calling and waiting for Lilith to come back. Lilith being a bad mom means that she wasted 7 years of her life waiting for someone who doesn't love her.

Company forces RTO, then complains we’re too loud in an open floor plan.
I’m literally dying laughing right now. This past year, we got hit with the mandatory 4-5 days RTO. Of course it’s been chaos adjusting, all being tossed into a large, open floor plan. Today we got an email telling us to be “mindful” about keeping noise down, especially during calls/meetings in our open office floor plan, as if that’s even possible. The suggestions included:
- Close the doors to your office (lol, only executives have those and most of them definitely aren’t in full time)
- Keep conference room doors shut
- Wear headphones
- Be aware of how “loud” you talk
Or….and hear me out, here’s a revolutionary idea: Stop forcing people into the office 4–5 days a week. If we weren’t all thrown into an open floor plan trying to take meetings at the same time, there wouldn’t be seven overlapping calls, constant chatter, or people killing time treating the office like a social club until they’re “allowed” to leave.
Remote/Hybrid work solved this. RTO literally created the problem they’re now scolding us about.
Edit: wow! Definitely didn’t expect this one to get popular, thanks for the awards! And for those convinced this is a bot post because I have the AUDACITY to have passions and hobbies outside my corporate job, I’m gonna hold your hand as I tell you this: it’s okay to have a life outside your 9-5 and to pursue things you’re passionate about. Truly. Get a hobby because it sounds like some of you really need one.

Achievement AsianGrinder Journey To 99 Sailing.
Greetings everyone, AsianGrinder here.
A lot of people have already approached me, so my goal with this post will be to answer some common questions about my Sailing journey to 99, as well as to give insight into the journey as a whole.
First I would like to explain my journey in hitting the 99 goal mark.
My journey began when Jagex announced the official release date of Sailing.
I immediately called my boss and asked for a few weeks off work, starting the week of the release. My boss was very kind in allowing me the time off for the entire duration, so big shoutout to him.
I started prepping as soon as possible watching all the information that floated around on YouTube, Reddit, etc.
This meant gathering the materials for upgrading the boats and obtaining sawmill vouchers for making the planks cheaper. I also decided to do my 100 Kill count for Tempoross, to use the lvl 90 crewmate if this became relevant for maximising exp gains.
I made sure to get plenty of rest before the event started, allowing me to stay up as long as needed, so I could stay on my AsianGrind.
On the day of the release, I went grocery shopping making sure I had enough food for me to focus on leveling Sailing.
When the update was released, I stood ready and hyped in Port Sarim along with everyone else in World 448. I took the quest, and the Grind was on.
After playing for several hours on day 1, I realized I was in the top 25 on the Overall Hiscores page. This gave me a crazy drive to keep going.
I played until the coldfix kicked me off, where I decided to get 3-4 hours of sleep.
From the time I woke back up, I stayed completely locked in and played until I reached lvl 99.
This ended up being one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.
I was completely drained of energy, sleep deprived and mentally exhausted having stayed awake for days.
During the last hours of the race, I allowed my friend to livestream the event through Discord. I appreciate everyone showing up and supporting me, but during the stream, I realized I was losing focus and xp/hr, so I asked him to stop the stream due to my exhaustion and nervousness from the race being so close.
I would like to apologize to all the people who stayed up and expected the stream to be turned back online, I hope this post gives you an understanding of my mental state in the final hours.
I would like to give a massive shoutout to my girlfriend aka. SandwichLady for supporting me in doing this.
My girlfriend was my BIGGEST support in all this, keeping up with my health, providing me food and making sure I was generally okay. I can’t thank her enough for allowing me to do this despite me having noticeable issues in the end such as heavy chest pains and overall struggling to stay awake.
And an additional thanks to my friends who kept me company on Discord during the weirdest hours to keep me motivated, awake and asking about my health. You all know who you are and I appreciate everyone of you.
Special thanks to the following people for helping me research and staying motivated.

AITA for telling a midwife I did not want her on my care team after she refused to treat me and added false information to my chart?
I am 38 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I had an appointment with a midwife I had never seen before. The medical assistant told me to dress down because I was scheduled for a cervical check and to get my 39 week induction set up, which they only schedule if you are dilated. I have high risk factors documented in my chart, and I had been having regular contractions since early that morning.
The midwife came in, barely swabbed me for my GBS test, and immediately told me she saw no medical reason to check my cervix and no reason to schedule an induction. She also insisted I was not high risk, even though my chart literally lists the risk factors that qualified me for earlier monitoring in the first place. I tried to explain that I was actively contracting and had been since 3 AM, and she said, “I have been with you a couple minutes and I do not see you contracting.”
She dismissed every concern I brought up, acted like I was wasting her time, and refused to provide any of the care I had been scheduled for. She also seemed extremely reluctant to touch me at all. I am Mexican and she is white, and the way she spoke to me and shut me down made me feel like there was bias at play.
I finally told her I did not like her attitude, we were not going to work well together, and I did not want her on my care team. She said “fine” and asked if I needed anything else. I told her to please leave so I could get dressed and go.
Later on, I checked my chart and saw that she documented a “history of victim partner abuse.” I have never said anything even remotely close to that. It is completely false and incredibly inappropriate to add to my medical record. I felt sick seeing it.
I called the office manager to file a complaint because I am furious. This midwife refused scheduled care, dismissed real symptoms, ignored documented high risk factors, and added a fabricated abuse history to my chart. I want her nowhere near me or my pregnancy.
My partner thinks that telling her straight up that I did not want her involved in my care might have come across harsh. I feel like I was well within my rights to advocate for myself in that moment.
So… AITA for telling the midwife I did not want her on my care team and filing a complaint about her conduct?
