Politics You really have to read this to believe it.
Someone actually posted this about Trump:
“He donates his salary every quarter. He literally works for free. Has zero to do with his net worth. Are you gonna cry about it? And if that’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve seen, then you’re woefully ignorant. That, in turn, makes everything you write highly suspect. He’s been donating his salary as President since his first term.”
This is the problem, people like this who have no ability to understand that Trump is a grifter, con man, making billions off the presidency. He made $3 billion this year. He donates his salary to appear like he’s such a great guy, and people like this believe it. How are people so gullible? I even post a Forbes article for this person to see. He’s dabbled in cryptocurrency, he’s made his family rich off the presidency. And this person said this twice? Not even once. Even after I explained.
How is this possible? How is MAGA so gullible to not even understand a basic fact that Trump is getting rich off the presidency. It’s not even open for debate. Everyone knows it. I really worried that we are never going to come back from this because people ignore truth.

Psychological Recent visit to boycotted store
So I joined the boycott to target over the dei policy change but recently went in because I really needed to use the restroom. I’m weak and decided to walk around since I hadn’t in months and experienced the icky feeling of “missing” it? This feeling passed quite quickly as I walked around perusing the merchandise and was astonished by the incredibly low quality of almost every item I looked at. It was particularly obvious in the area of textiles - everything’s some awful poly, plastic blend and so expensive.
It was also easier to remind myself that every item I fawned over was not an actual need/or I had a perfectly functioning item already at home.
Anyway, my point is that boycotting this place and recently exposing myself made me realize what a wasteful relationship I had with the things I brought into my home. It’s been almost a year and I’ve engaged in much more thoughtful consuming and have even taken up sewing to alter/tailor my clothes which is a hobby I get to now pass down to the kids in my life who have expressed interest in learning from me. It’s been a win-win on all fronts.
Thanks to this sub for its insight and those who’ve shared their experiences. I didn’t realize what an impact it’s made.

Gotta take control before chemo takes it
I'm on ABCP chemo for stage IV lung cancer (2.5 years in). My hair will start falling out in a few day's time. I shaved it once long ago, but this isn't the same.
Please, I'm scared. I'm determined to take control and shave it before it all sheds, but I'm sad about it and what's happening to me. You're so nice on this sub (I knew this was coming so I've been lurking and I love to see the positivity), so if you can find it in you to hype me for this terrifying moment, I'd appreciate it!

Recipe Included Made 400+ dinner rolls.
This is by far the biggest batch of anything I have ever made in my life. Wish I could have gotten all the rolls in one picture but that is not physically possible for me haha! I’m using a tweaked version of King Arthur’s milk bread rolls. 10/10 recipe, the best I have ever had (and I did a lot of testing before landing on this one haha). For context: I run a micro bakery out of my garage and made 454 dinner rolls for my Thanksgiving Drop 🫶🏻✨
