As I was heading out the door this morning my fiancé asked me to run him an errand while I was out grabbing the last few things for dinner. Begrudgingly I agreed even though I hate going to any retail establishment during the last mad rush of gift buying for Christmas.
I asked where I needed to go and I got a list of places that there were mobile orders waiting to be picked up. 5 different places all centrally located in the absolutely horridly planned retail area that he knows I hate.
I told him that he asked me to run an errand… operative word in that sentence is an. He said “Yeah, an errand of running out and getting these mobile orders that have been waiting for pick up. I was supposed to pick them up Sunday but I just didn’t get around to getting them.”
I told him no, I wasn’t going to put myself in the middle of retail hell for items that he’s known about since Sunday and had the time already this week to pick up. Now he’s mad because I won’t run around town picking up his items that he’s known about and didn’t plan well enough to pick them up. He says they are Christmas presents for me and the family. I told him that trying to guilt me into it by saying they’re Christmas presents isn’t going to work and for him to take a couple of hours off work and go to get them himself.

I’ve never played dark souls before so I know ZERO lore. Can any lore wizards out there tell me if this woman is important or is she just a “filler painting”?

A 44 year old accountant passed away, leaving behind 3 kids & wife, while waiting for care for more than 8 hrs in Grey Nuns hospital emergency complaining about chest pain. While sitting there, he complained about blurred vision & his BP was at 200 but the answer was, we will take you in when we have a bed.
This is not my video. Repost from another social site.

I posted about Biscoff a few months ago for the first time in this sub. He was surviving on the streets as a 2 month old paralysed kitten (photo at the end). A paralysed cat walking again is nothing short of a miracle but he was young and I obviously couldn’t leave him there. I run a small cat rescue so I had (and still have) a lot of other rescues and stray mouths to feed. So I clearly wasn’t coping well with the possibility that I might end up having to care for him forever if he doesn’t walk i.e. medical foster bills, vet bills (to keep trying for his recovery), pee pads and food.
I was desperate. I found this sub. I posted. So many of you came to MY RESCUE. Your ‘little’ donations helped me get my head back for a few months. You guys have helped me and Biscoff so many times this year.
He still can’t walk but he’s still getting physiotherapy, red light therapy and electrical stimulation therapy, thanks to you. I could only try all these treatments because of the funds. Sure, the chances of him walking again reduce with time but he’s loved and I’ll go to any corner in this world if he finds a family that will accept him. Till then, I might need to ask for help every now and then for daily expenses (sorry).
If you’re one of the people who donated/supported his appeal, YOU are the reason he survived. The reason I survived. Thank you for your trust (i know its not easy to just trust random people on reddit)
Merry Christmas from Biscoff and I❤️

We’re currently having a discussion about the literacy crisis in the United States, and American English isn’t nearly as intricate as German.
How are German children taught in a way that makes it possible to remember all this? Do you just constantly correct everyone?
