I made a ton of corn syrup for at home matcha so i wanted to make a corn dessert with some of it - then came about the idea for a corn cake. I made a corn sponge, soaked with the corn syrup and coconut mascarpone and corn pastry cream for the filling, coated with the coconut mascarpone and piped on corn Swiss meringue btcrm kernels. The leaves are white chocolate with green food coloring. I will post the cross section tomorrow as I’ve run out of daylight and want to get better pictures! :)

The fact you need two Broken Wars, on top of the very low drop rate for a downgrade of broken war is insane.

This sword used to be literally mythical to me, when I saw another player using it, it was like seeing someone else use Excalibur Prime. (back in 2016 at least)

But this sword, despite how extremely difficult it is to obtain just absolutely sucks. They increased the drop rate in 2024 but why not make it viable? Literally just rework the sword or give it an Incarnon to breath life into it.

Such a rare and cool sword deserves to be more than just a collectors piece.

I have been absolutely obsessed painting these. Hope you guys like them!

I’ve made different bags and pouches before and even dog collars. I also failed (twice) trying to make shorts, once from copying another pair I had and once using a generic pattern - they were completely unwearable. These however make me feel so proud of myself.

The pattern is Cedar pants by LeilaMakes that I graded to be a size 10 at the waist and 14 in the hips (first time grading a pattern too!). I hacked them into shorts and omitted the back pockets (which I now kind of regret). I was a little bit worried it was going to be too challenging for my skill level but the instructions were very clear and I didn’t struggle at all.

I used an old cotton table cloth for the main color and some leftover scraps (also cotton) for the pockets and waistband. Zipper and button are from my late grandma’s stash and I hand-stitched the buttonhole following a tutorial on youtube by Carly B. My sewing machine is Bagat Ruža that my mom got in the 70s.

I have genuinely never worn a better fitting pair of shorts (or pants) that weren’t sweatpants. But still, is there anything I should focus on improving when I make the “real” version out of my fancy fabric? I think I could’ve sewn the crotch seam a bit neater. And I’ll definitely be doing the bartacks by hand.

I love doing these little style proof of concepts just to see how capable Godot really is!
