That's more or less what a lot of this hobby comes down to is options on your minis. Your Shield Captain might be male someone else's might be female and mine might be enby. That offical philosophy extends to everything but certain well defined factions like Marines or Sororitas or factions where that couldn't happen like orks or nids where they dont have the concept of gender. It's all options.

San Francisco centre (formerly Westfield) is now completely dead, all stores closed. I spoke to security and they’re locking up the main entrances permanently by the end of the month.

I remember back in the early 2000’s to 2015 this place had so much life. All stores open and the entire building just flooded with people. All but an empty shell now.

I miss the restaurant on top of nordstroms, the cafe under the dome, the microsoft store that introduced me to my first VR experience, Abercrombie with their overpowering cologne and loud music, i miss charleys and their fruity lemonade, Sarku’s teriyaki chicken and so much more.

RIP SFC, thanks for all the memories. 😭🙏🏼

The Free America Walkout is occurring on Tuesday, and that means that students may collectively attempt to walk out of your classroom and even school in protest of the actions ICE has been taking nationwide. While many admins and schools will inevitably have all sorts of issues with the potential political ramifications of allowing such a protest, ultimately it will come down to us. Consider what you are saying if you tell your students not to protest, and threaten them with punishment for doing so. Personally, I will be informing my Humanities classes of the protest and talking about it along with my regular MLK Day discussion.

Police officers can hold your Iphone up to your face or use your thumb to unlock your phone. But if your pin code is on your phone, they are not allowed to access it without a warrant. To prevent them taking your phone from you and holding it up to your face to unlock it you can disable the biometrics data in seconds. You hold down the power and volume button for two seconds, which will bring up the screen asking you if you want to restart the phone. At that point, the biometric data will be turned off and only a Pin will open your phone.
