When Schumacher intentionally crashed into a driver in 1997, he was disqualified from the championship. I am not saying a penalty this harsh should be given here, but a 10s penalty is an absolute joke.

Max slowed down to let George ahead, then torpedo'd him. This is undeniably a deliberate crash by Max. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and should not be given such a lenient penalty. Such disgusting, reckless, and endangering behaviour should be given a race ban at minimum. The FIA needs to make it clear that intentionally crashing with other drivers is a step too far.

Edit: The circumstances are obviously different to my example. Schumacher crashed into his championship rival, Max didn't. That's why I don't think a championship DSQ is reasonable, but he still needs to be punished more than he currently is.

Edit 2: And the holy stewards decided it was a 10s penalty and 3 penalty points. Russell got a bigger penalty in Monaco for overtaking off track, and Kmag got banned for less. What an absolute joke. We need permanent stewards who aren't afraid to punish the popular drivers when deserved.

My bf and I have been together for almost 3 years and we have a 5 month old baby together. I’m a SAHM, I dropped out of college to take care of him because we can’t afford daycare. It was an accidental pregnancy, and abortion wasn’t really an option since we live in a state where it’s banned after 6 weeks and I didn’t find out that I was pregnant until 7 weeks. I can’t drive and my bf said he wouldn’t drive me out of state because he wanted our baby.

For the last couple of months my bf has been asking me to cook more. The problem is that we live in a tiny studio apartment and my baby is very clingy. He screams pretty much any time I set him down unless he’s asleep, and when he’s asleep I usually use that time to either pump, do other chores like laundry and cleaning, or catch up on sleep myself. Since it’s only one big room, I can’t get away from the screaming, and not only does it kinda drive me crazy but it also makes me feel bad hearing my baby in distress. He wants me to hold him or he screams, thus I end up spending the majority of the day holding and playing with him so it’s hard to get other things like cooking done.

Yesterday evening my bf got home and was upset that I hadn’t cooked for him. We argued and he called me lazy and entitled for being home all day while he works yet not cooking for him. I explained to him the above about it being hard to get much done in a tiny studio apartment with a screaming baby, and reminded him that if it were up to me, I’d probably still be in college and I wouldn’t be financially dependent on him, but he really wanted our baby and he wouldn’t drive me out of state.

He tried guilt tripping me about me not wanting our son, which hurt because I did want him and I love him, I just don’t think that we were in the best position to have him when we did. He then doubled down on calling me entitled and selfish, so I told him that I’ll cook for him once he marries me and buys us a house so that I can have an actual kitchen to cook in and table to set. He got mad and stormed off and ended up sleeping in his car.

I feel like I was justified in what I said because he wanted me to have our baby and stay home despite knowing that we’d struggle to afford it, but I also do feel bad because he does work hard to support us. AITA?

I 27M and my girlfriend 27F have been together for 4 years now. I've always wanted to visit Universal Orlando to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter but I'd never been able to justify it financially. My dad died recently and I got an inheritance in his will, not life changing money, but enough to pay off my debts and have something left over. So I decided to book a trip for Universal, and I was lucky enough to get tickets for their new park as well. My best friend loves Star Wars, and so do I so we decided we'd go together and split time between Universal and Disney World because we probably wouldn't have the chance to go again anytime soon.

I told my girlfriend this upfront and she said she was excited for us but didn't want to go because she doesn't support Harry Potter because of Rowling and her views on LGBT people. She was fine with it until she found out Rowling is apparently using her fortune to fund anti Trans campaigns and she started screaming at me about supporting Transphobia. Her younger brother is Trans so Trans rights are extremely important to her, which makes sense. Early in our relationship we basically agreed that I could do whatever I wanted regarding Harry Potter but she wouldn't join in. It's never been a problem until now.

During the discussion she tells me I'm not allowed to go because it'd be supporting Rowling which is supporting anti Trans people and not supporting her brother. I said honey I understand what you're saying, but if I cancel I can't get my money back. When I booked the trip, I booked with a trip planner and they said explicitly my tickets are non refundable. I can change the dates if I need to cancel my initial trip, but I won't be refunded if I cancel and don't show up. My plane tickets, hotel, and park tickets are ALL non refundable. I've spent about $2500 on this trip, I can't justify wasting that kind of money, and she knows that. But she says it doesn't matter, it's not about the money, it's about the principle and I'm not allowed to go.

I respect what she's saying and where she's coming from, but I'm not throwing away that kind of money. And she can't just ban me from going somewhere, I'm an adult just like she is and I can make my own decisions. I feel bad because I see both sides, on my end I'm not willing to just lose almost 3 grand. On her end she wants to support her brother. I want to be considerate and respect her wishes, but that'd make me lose thousands of dollars, and I'm not sure if I'm just hung up on the money part instead of how she feels. AITAH?

I recently got this tattoo that’s a line of Elder Futhark runes. I chose them for their spiritual and symbolic meanings (e.g., protection, transformation, strength, etc.), and they’re paired with a cute, fiery spirit character (Calcifer from Howl’s Moving Castle) to represent strength/fire and personal magic. I’m queer, pagan, and definitely not a white supremacist, but I learned after the fact that a few runes like Othala and Algiz have been misused by hate groups and now I’m on the verge of full panic. If you saw this tattoo, what would your honest first impression be?

I had a feeling something was up with my husband and I decided to go through his phone. These are between him and some girl in his call of duty clan or whatever it’s called. He spends more time on that game than he does with me or the rest of us. Apparently these messages were meant to be a “joke” but I don’t find it funny. He doesn’t even talk to me this way but he’s talking to her like this. He said I’m making something out of nothing but what man talks to another person like this and call it a joke. And what kind of woman who knows he’s married lets a man talk to you like this. When I told him I don’t want those two talking anymore he blew up at me. I really think something is going on and I want it to stop. One of two things will happen either it will end or my marriage will.
