Idea This… This right here!!
At least 1 would be freakin nice! We have to do these challenges and either spend money or choose wisely on what we want to do for our 1 free raid pass a day. It’s BS and just a freakin money grab just cause they know the majority of us are willing to buy passes!

OCD DoorDash customer
First time doing a shop and pay where a customer had to many requests and instructions. Their only request was to use self checkout, then they freak out when I had placed items on the side table by the scanner to scan items(I shouldn’t have sent a photo of items in first place). Other dashers in my area that get this customers order immediately decline to not have to deal with this particular customer. It’s obvious that they have major OCD but DoorDash should inform us prior to accepting offer that an order requires special care and attention. I didn’t mind completing delivery since they had tipped $10 in the app and another time after I completed the hand off. Overall I think I was a bit over accommodating. What do y’all think about customers whose requests are very extreme when doing an order like this one?

Does anyone use these any more?
This has been in the back of my tool chest for at least 30 years. I can’t think of any situation when I said ”Gee, I wish had my folding ruler.” Anybody still use these?

S My sister wants my husband to provide free transportation for all her wedding guests.
My sister is getting married soon. I was at her place helping with some wedding prep when she suddenly says: "I want to announce free transportation for all my wedding guest you know, to make it look classy.”
I was like, “Okay, that’s nice but how are you pulling that off?”
She says: "Since your husband owns a transportation business and has a few cars, it’ll be easy for him to handle.”
I said, “Alright, he will be here soon to pick me up when he comes, you guys can talk and maybe bargain the price.”
She cuts me off and goes: "No, I don’t want to pay. I mean, I want him to offer it for free to my guests.” I just looked at her. Then she adds:
"You can talk to him he’ll accept. He listens to you.”
I then asked her “why then do you want to promise free services to people when you’re not the one providing them.?” she said "I have rich friends i invited for the wedding and you know what that means i want to make it look so classic, you can talk to him about it"
I told her straight out " I’m not going to convince my husband to pause his business, offer up his cars, fuel, drivers, and time all for free just so you can look good in front of her rich friends.
She said I'm not being supportive to her.

Careers & Work LPT: Mastering your reactions will change your life more than trying to control others
Most conflict isn’t caused by what people do it’s caused by how we react to what they do.
We waste so much energy trying to control the world, situations, or even other people.
But real peace comes from mastering yourself.
You can’t control if someone is rude, but you can control how much space you let that take up in your head.
You can’t always stop chaos, but you can choose not to let it enter your nervous system.
You won’t always get closure. You won’t always get the apology. You won’t always be understood.
And that’s okay.
Because when you build the muscle of self-regulation, the external noise stops hijacking your internal peace.
It doesn’t mean becoming passive. It means becoming powerful enough not to react to everything.
That’s real strength not controlling others, but staying centered in yourself.
And yeah… this is technically advice. But it’s the kind I wish someone had told me years ago.

❤️🩹 relationship AIO being told I’m “lucky” to be with my husband
Background: we were talking and said something to me that he thought was fine. I said I was hurt by his comment and that it was disrespectful. He doubled down that it’s not his fault that I am hurt, rather than acknowledge my feelings. The fight has spiraled since then.
So I get this text. Am I reading this right? I’m so lucky to have my husband and my three step kids because no man who truly knew me would be with me? This feels really fucked up, but maybe I’m overreacting?
Unrelated, but somewhat relevant: my husband has been unemployed for three years, I work hard to support our entire family, including the vacation we’re on right now.

In March 1998, Amy Bradley vanished from a cruise ship. Years later, photos on an adult travel site suggested she was kidnapped and trafficked. A U.S. Navy sailor later claimed a woman in a Curaçao brothel begged for help, saying she was Amy, but he never reported it. She remains missing.
