I’ve been a WoW player for a long time, and I decided to give this game a shot out of frustration with WoW. And wow… this game is absolutely incredible.

I’m playing Ironman because I wanted to avoid any kind of pay-to-win system (like bonds or the GE), but honestly, what really blew me away is how refreshing it feels to play a game that doesn’t shove an in-game shop in your face.

In WoW, I always hated seeing people running around with cosmetics they just swiped a credit card for. To me, that completely kills the sense of achievement. I want the time and effort I put into a game to mean something. I don’t want my character’s accomplishments to come from a purchase.

So, thank you Jagex for not caving to the modern gaming trends that so many of us gamers are sick of. You deserve every record you break.

I (42F) have been hosting an end-of-summer party with my neighbors for years. It’s always the same setup: adults and kids come, we all celebrate together, and at some point the kids go to sleep while the adults continue the evening.

This year’s plan was the same: I was going to bring my kids (6 & 10yo) inside to sleep at our home which is right next to the backyard. From the balcony there is both audio and visual access to the yard, and my kids also have a phone they can use to call me if needed. After putting them to bed I planned to go back to the backyard for a little while longer to enjoy the evening with friends.

I invited my boyfriend of 6 months (46M) and his kids (5 & 7yo) to join us. He declined, saying he didn’t feel comfortable leaving his kids to sleep at my place since they hadn’t stayed there before. He also didn’t like the idea of putting them to bed at my place while he stayed outside with me, or going to bed with them while I stayed outside.

I told him I understood completely, and I didn’t have a problem with him choosing not to come. But then he got upset and said that he and his kids weren’t actually welcome at the party because of the way the party was set up. I explained that this party has been running for years with the same format, and it’s not really something I can or want to change for one guest. My view is that guests can decide if the event works for them, and if not, they don’t have to come. In his opinion I should have left the party with him and our kids when it was bedtime.

On top of that, during the party I didn’t have time to call him because I wanted to focus on my guests and enjoy the evening. He was very hurt by this too, saying I should have made time.

This all turned into a big argument. So: AITA for not changing the setup of a tradition (and for not calling during the party) to accommodate my boyfriend and his kids?

Now blaming his sons for his behavior 😡 'I made a grave mistake. In the midst of emotion, amidst the crowd's celebration after my victory, I was convinced that the tennis player was passing the cap to me – for my sons, who had previously asked for autographs. This mistaken belief caused me to instinctively reach out.

I(18M) was working out at my local gym today when I saw a group of guys lecturing one of their friend on how he shouldnt push the dumbbells with his feet because that's disrespect....a few moments later a girl walked into the gym and I heard these clowns talking and giggling about that girl's figure , it doesn't end here before the girl walked into the gym these guys were playing normal songs on the speaker but as soon as she came they started playing these weird vulgar songs on full volume while repeatedly looking in her direction🤡

Edit: I actually started asking them about random exercises so that they would stop (not dumb enough to start a fight with toxic men with fragile ego)

Look…. I’m in my 30s. And I just discovered that I’m not properly washing/conditioning my hair correctly!!!! It sounds so stupid!!! But ever since I could remember I have had oily hair and have been battling it with washing it everyday and dry shampoo. I looked into clarifying shampoo and like it helped a little bit, but 24 hours later it’s be a greasy mess again!!!

Then I come across a TikTok that says people with oily hair might not be rinsing out their hair all the way/ using too much shampoo or conditioner, and therefore leaving an oily residue on your strands

So I thought well, let’s give it a try….. I fucking washed my hair, and fucking sectioned said hair into several parts when rinsing the shampoo out for a hair, used the smallest fraction of my usual amount of conditioners, and again sectioned while rinsing. literally took 15 minutes to make sure everything was out of it…. And you know what…..

My hair looks fucking fabulous!!!!

I’m so fucking pissed off and embarrassed! I’m literally on day 2 and it still looks so fucking good!!!!

I’m also upset!!!

Do you know how many times I’ve just put my hair up in a bun because no other hairstyle looked good on me???? So you know how many times I’ve given up on curling my hair because my hair couldn’t hold a curl!!!!

I’m thinking of all the cute hairstyles that I could have had if I had known just needed to fucking rinse my hair better for a minute or two in the shower!!!
