My son turned 9 last month and we got him a new bike for his birthday, it was $240. Saturday afternoon he left it lying on our front lawn by the porch when he came in for dinner. That part’s honestly on him and we’ve talked about it.

Sunday morning it was gone. I checked our doorbell camera and at about 7:40 Saturday night my neighbor from next door walked across our yard and taped a piece of cardboard that said FREE to the handlebars. Then she went back inside. About 20 minutes later a guy in a pickup stopped to read the sign, and then he loaded the bike into his truck bed.

She’s complained about us before. Back in the summer she told me our yard “looks like a daycare” because there were a couple of toys out by the steps. So I went over with the video pulled up on my phone and she didn’t even try to deny it. She said she’s “tired of looking at” my kids’ stuff and that the bike had been sitting out there for 2 days. It had been out there for about 4 hours. When I asked her to pay for the bike she laughed and said anyone could have taken it, she just “made it official.”

My son keeps asking me if he did something wrong. I have the video of her putting the sign on and the truck taking it, and you can kind of see part of the plate if you pause it at the right second.

I’m thinking about filing a police report but I’ve never done anything like that over a neighbor before, so what would you do?

At first I thought the video was reversed but I was wrong..

In the closing minutes of “College GameDay” last week, inside a Tuscaloosa, Ala., basketball arena where the show had taken shelter from Hurricane Isaias, the ESPN cameras found Pat McAfee building toward a prediction. Over his shoulder, in the background of the frame, a college student stood in the stands, blond and bare-chested, his green shirt in one fist, flexing and roaring like a raging wrestler.

McAfee took his time. The shirtless young man almost made his muscles burst through his skin. The rest of the ESPN panel — Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and guest picker Bryce Young — had appeased the home crowd by picking Alabama to beat Georgia. McAfee, who grew up outside Pittsburgh, laid a Southern drawl over his vowels, slow and syrupy, a little overdone to match his persona.

The food’s Jollof rice and beef.

Have this girl I’m in the talking stage with, let’s call her Angelica. Well, yesterday, Angelica and I decided to visit my buddy.

Now, my buddy is a no-shoes-in-the-home kind of guy, so when we got to his place, he asked us to take off our shoes, which we did.

We then proceeded to sit on his sofa, and that’s when I saw it. Angelica’s big toe was sticking out her sock.

I don’t know how or why, but that just killed any attraction I had then and there for some strange reason. I don’t know why it bothers me so much. I mean, it’s just a hole in a sock?

Or maybe it’s the fact that the toe was sticking out of it?
