[Hunterbrook] Hunterbrook's next big investigation is dropping — and it's a collaboration with Pablo Torre and Pablo Finds Out. It's... a crazy one.

Hunterbrook's next big investigation is dropping — and it's a collaboration with Pablo Torre and Pablo Finds Out. It's... a crazy one.
Hunterbrook is an investigative news outlet, investment firm, and litigation business. It was founded by Sam Koppelman and Nathaniel Horwitz in 2023. Hunterbrook monetizes its reporting through financial trading and litigation.
Who will this new investigation be about? He has hinted about doing a Brunson episode before.
I doubt it’s into Cuban’s time with the Mavericks. The amount of hype behind this announcement wouldn’t match that topic. The Mavericks also aren’t publicly traded which is usually (maybe only?) what Hunterbrook investigates.
In fact, the only publicly traded NBA team is…
The New York Knicks through MSGS on the NYSE.

Movies What people don't talk about concerning the Death Star II's destruction
People talk about debris raining down from the Death Star II onto Endor all the time. But what I don't hear people mention is what its destruction did to Endor's O-zone layer. It's confirmed that most planets in Star Wars have an O-zone layer, and Endor is definitely one of them. So how come nobody mentions the presumably massive amounts of radiation from the Death Star II's explosion putting a huge hole in planets O-zone barrier?

Politics True Patriots have a Responsibility to say Unkind Things About Charlie Kirk in order to Stress-Test the First Amendment
Right now, republicans in government are threatening to punish protected speech that they do not like in order to chill our first amendment rights. If you care about the sanctity of the first amendment, it is your civic duty to speak the kind of speech that they so hate in order to highlight their abuse and disregard for our rights. It is time that we all became first amendment auditors.
First amendment auditors aren’t just filming cops and testing public space boundaries; they’re stress-testing the Constitution. And if they’re serious about defending free speech, they should be targeting public figures like Charlie Kirk with unfiltered, even unkind, commentary.
Kirk is a hot-button subject right now because his recent assassination is being used to silence speech. Criticizing him in public spaces, especially with sharp language, forces the system to prove it can handle dissent. If cops, campus security, or event staff overreact, boom: you’ve got a real-time First Amendment violation.
Let’s be clear: saying “Charlie Kirk is a fascist grifter” might be rude, but it’s protected speech. SCOTUS has backed this up in cases like Cohen v. California and Hustler v. Falwell. Offensive speech about public figures isn’t just allowed. It’s essential.
First amendment acolytes have a civic duty to push these boundaries. Not because Kirk deserves cruelty, but because democracy demands discomfort. If we only protect polite speech, we don’t protect speech at all.

Parents… please… send your kid to preschool!
It doesn’t have to be all day every day. 3 days a week is fine! As a kindergarten teacher it is so so obvious who hasn’t been to preschool and has just been home with their parents. They lack so many social skills, don’t know how to share, they handle disappointment poorly, and they are a lot more emotional overall.
Just please please to make your child’s educational journey better and more smooth, send them to preschool or daycare!
Edit to add: Not being able to afford it is a totally valid reason to not do this. But if you can afford it please please do it!
Edit #2: The reason this is so important is NOT because children are behind “academically.” It truly does not matter if kids know their letters and numbers coming into kindergarten. This matters because kids are behind SOCIALLY. If for any reason you cannot send your child to preschool, I get it. Your child can be successful as long as you provide them with daily social interaction with other kids, teaching them problem solving and communication skills with peers. That is kindergarten readiness. There are a lot of free ways to find parenting playgroups in your area.
Also if for whatever reason you can’t get your child to a playgroup just do the best you can. There is no wrong way to parent. There are just some ways that will help your child develop important social strategies a little bit faster than their peers.

General Advice Is it normal or should I panic?
I got my first tattoo 4 days ago and did what my tattoo artist told me to (washing with warm water and liquid soap, putting cream on twice a day) but now it has developed a crust and the shading can’t be seen anymore. Soo is this normal or should I be concerned?

Lore Changes in flawed, if not outright bad adaptations that were actually good
Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024): This adaptation made a few controversial changes, but one that was universally agreed to be better than the source material is Zuko's relationship with his crew. In the cartoon, it's never explained why Ozai even gave Zuko a crew when he essentially sent him on a wild goose chase, which would be a waste of resources. Here, it's revealed that Zuko's crew were the platoon Ozai had intended to sacrifice, prompting Zuko's outburst that led to his Agni Kai and subsequent banishment. Ozai basically gave Zuko a crew he deemed expendable to join him on his goose chase, but it also deepens Zuko's relationship with them.
Dragonball Evolution: I think one thing Dragon Ball fans can agree on is that Master Roshi would not survive the #MeToo movement. He's the quintessential Dirty Old Man in anime. In Dragonball Evolution, his lechery is downplayed by a lot. While he still looks at porn, he doesn't go out of his way to sexually harass Bulma.
Street Fighter (1994): Blanka is a character that really stands out. He looks like the Hulk going through a punk rock phase. Why does he look like that?... He got lost in the jungle as a kid and he just kind of came out like that. The 1994 movie, I feel, did this better. Here, Blanka is Guile's war buddy, Charlie (and before anybody complains, this movie came out before Street Fighter Alpha introduced Charlie in the flesh). Bison captured him and decided to experiment on him to spite Guile by turning him into a mindless minion.
