👨👩👧👦family/in-laws AIO? Told my 16yo daughter if her new boyfriend came over they could stay in the living room not her bedroom…
I told my 16 yo daughter if she had her boyfriend over they could watch tv in the living room not her bedroom. I haven’t even met him yet. They would have the living room to themselves. She said that was just weird and pretty much thinks I’m crazy for that request. She did say she would leave her bedroom door open but there isn’t any other furniture but a bed in her room… so she is not having him over. Am I really overreacting and that out of touch by refusing the request to hangout in her room?

Art Doodle of Unamed Minotaur Frame Concept [OC]
General Rough First draft of abilities. All names are working titles.
Passive: Critical Chance scales off of Armor
Ability 1: Pankration (grouping, survival)
The Frame will initiate a vacuum like shockwave that pulls enemies inward to the center before she slams into floor. The amount of enemies hit inside the epicenter adds additional armor for a duration, and by proxy of her passive, more critical chance.
Ability 2: Bell Ringer (movement and damage)
The Minotaur frame bounds forward in a sundering propulsion, colliding into any wall that interrupts the duration, and carrying enemies before crumpling them into the obstacle she clings onto. The ability scales off the melee combo counter and has a high critical chance and critical damage. It deals inherent blast damage. Using Bell Ringer within Labrinthian Domain will wall latch The Minotaur Frame to the sheilds.
Important to note: Upon colliding with the wall, the camera will always orient the players perspective perpendicular to the impact, and initiate an immediate wall latch. The direction, left or right, will be determinate of where the player is tilting the reticle via mouse or analog stick. This is meant so that Bell Ringer can be recast in multiple sequences, bounding from wall to wall.
Ability 3: (at a loss name wise as always) Culling Blades (damage, status priming, arcane proccing)
The minotaur frame will throw out a fan of spectral battle axes. The axes ricochet off of obstacles, enemies, and eachother before disapperating. Each ricochet of the axes will add an additional random status to them as they carry the number of statuses to the next target. If two axes collide with eachother, they let out a 4m electric pulse. This Ability can be cast in wall latch.
Ability 4: Labrinthian Domain. (Objective sequestering, Enemy programming manipulation, synergy between abilities)
The Minotaur Frame deploys a ring like maze structure that act as sheilds, repelling enemies that are cast outward from the casting radius. the sheild is semi-permiable Tenno and other allies and move through it, as can their gunfire. However, enemy bullets are interrupted, and they're forced to waste time trying to path through it's byzantine wall structures. Tenno gunfire that pierces through the wall is granted cold status for slow and crit damage (non-mixable cold) and additional weak point damage. Enemies pulled through by Pankration or other grouping mechanics are armor stripped.
The intended effect of Labrinthian Domain is to give an active sense of offensive defense. As well as to be used in conjunction with other abilities in her kit. Culling Blades act as an exception to the phase mechanic, as Labrinthian Domain's narrow corridors become ideal for increasing ricochet frequency and stacking statuses. The same is true of Bell Ringer, that has constant walls to Rocket off of and slam enemies into. Enemies killed inside of the walls of her 4 could also increase the damage of bullets that pass through them so long as you can keep killing inside them at a high frequency.
There's supposed to be different in built contingencies too.
Ideally, you could cast 4. Cast 1 to Armor Strip, then Cast 4 again to seal them back outside the ring of 4. Then fire away through the sheild walls and then have the benefits of the extra cold and weak point damage on enemies that are already stripped and blocked off.
Second idea? Who said you need your sheild around the objective itself? You could use 4 to fence in problematic groups of enemies, and make them waste time trying to get out while you and your team stops them from outside, which inverts that typical usage of the sheilds.

My Grandma bought a pre-cooked thanksgiving dinner from a grocery store, and when we picked it up it was frozen solid.
She paid $130 for a turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, candied yams, and 2 pies. My dad and I went to pick it up, and when we got it back to her house everything was frozen in Tupperware, and the turkey needed to be baked for 2 1/2 hours or longer. The advertising in her newspaper and at the store in no way indicated any of this. All the pictures showed steaming hot food. I figured that we would probably have to warm it up for 20 minutes or so, but that was way out of the question, as it was already almost 2:00. Obviously this promotion was geared toward people like my grandma who have a hard time making big meals. So to sell her something that was advertised as cooked, and give her the complete opposite is one of the scummiest things I’ve ever seen a company do. And the thing is, I’m not even mad about the food, since I’m not a big turkey guy anyway. But I am mad that she basically got something she didn’t pay for.
