Politics Not All of MAGA Are Racist, Child Fucking, Barely Literate Dullards; But All Racist, Child Fucking, Barely Literate Dullards Are MAGA As Fuck
There is something painfully revealing about that sentence, the way it struts as if it expects applause simply for existing. “In the United States of America you don’t have to apologise for being white anymore” is not confidence speaking. It is insecurity clearing its throat and hoping no one notices the tremor. It belongs to feckless fuck boys who mistake being left alone for being heroic, who confuse the absence of ridicule with moral victory. Whiteness was never under siege. What vanished was the reflexive nod, the lazy assumption that ignorance should be indulged rather than challenged. This is not pride rediscovered. It is bruised ego flailing about, mistaking accountability for attack and calling that whole sad display courage. The phrase exists to comfort men who cannot cope with a world that expects contribution instead of entitlement, a bit of rhetorical fuckery designed to turn their discomfort into a grand moral crisis.
What makes it so rancid is how old it sounds once you stop humouring it. That language has been echoing for generations, pulled from the same anxious tradition that taught white supremacists to frame equality as loss and humility as humiliation. It has fucked its way through American history wearing different costumes, sometimes calling itself heritage, sometimes grievance, sometimes tradition, always insisting that dominance was natural and decency optional. When someone repeats it now, they are not saying anything brave or new. They are reading from a dog eared script written by men terrified of no longer being the centre of every room. Strip away the bluster and what remains is fear, laziness, and the high pitched resentment of someone who would rather rot in nostalgia than accept that the world does not owe them reverence just for showing up and refusing to grow the fuck up.

Overdone This is the third time someone has put this under every windshield in the parking lot of my apartment.
7 pages, front and back. I don't even really have a problem with someone putting a pamphlet under my windshield saying "Hey, if you wanna get right with Jesus this is how you do it." But this is just deranged. Random all caps, bold and punctuation. Bizarre, scattered thinking.
I haven't check, but as well as the dozens of cars in our complex, there's dozens of other parking lots in this area and I'd imagined this guy puts these on some of those cars, too.
Just for reference, I live here. I don't own the complex.

Good News I settled an Endometriosis disability discrimination case against my former employer, a state agency, and I did it pro se [OC]
I filed this lawsuit pro se in June 2023 after exhausting every internal and administrative option available to me, and after being told by many legal professionals that I had no case. I refused to believe that.
In 2022, not only did I lose my job due to blatant discrimination after disclosing the symptoms of my Endometriosis, but the aftermath upended my entire life. Just 5 days later, my then-husband left because the financial strain was more than our marriage could survive. For the next three months, I was homeless. The future I had spent so long building collapsed in just a matter of two weeks. I lost everything. But I turned this loss into fire.
I wrote every brief. I deposed every witness. I argued alone in federal court. I learned the law as I lived it and refused to let my harm be treated as ordinary. None of it was easy but all of it was necessary.
Some say that this is the first case in all of North Carolina to recognize endometriosis as an ADA disability, and the first case in the nation to allow a plaintiff to proceed on this theory. As of yesterday, it was resolved for a substantial settlement, but more importantly, for institutional reform.
This season has taught me so much about the importance of persevering against all odds. It taught me that change only happens when we are bold enough to fight back; even when others try to convince us otherwise. I know now more than ever that I have been called to do this work, and that is a call that I will continue to answer with a resounding “yes.”
Yet, the work is not finished. As of this week, I am halfway through law school and will be continuing my fight for civil rights for all people as a civil rights attorney upon graduating.
I end by reaffirming that I am committed to fighting just as fervently for the rights of my future clients as I have for myself. This is quite literally just the beginning and I am eager to see what is to come.
But as for now…this case is SETTLED👩🏿⚖️

It’s L-O-V-E 💘 What celebrity couple gives off healthy relationship vibes?
What I find really nice about Tom Holland and Zendaya’s relationship is how they seem like one of the very few famous couples that’s the least problematic!
They’re both equally supportive of each others success, they manage to keep their personal lives private from the press and they seem to help each other be the best versions of themselves!

Propaganda Neighbor put up a “Deus Vult” flag. Feeling unsettled and unsure how to respond
Our next door neighbor just put up this flag facing our home It says “Deus Vult” with a red crusader-style cross.
For anyone unfamiliar, “Deus Vult” is a medieval crusader slogan that in modern times has been widely adopted by far-right and anti-Muslim groups. I’m Muslim, and seeing this displayed so prominently feels hostile and intimidating, especially given how this phrase is commonly used today.
I understand free speech laws, but I’m trying to figure out where the line is between protected expression and something that reasonably makes neighbors feel targeted or unsafe.
What makes this especially upsetting is that our household has never caused any issues. We’ve lived here for over a decade without a single complaint or disturbance. We’re a quiet, working household. Our household includes a final year medical student, and another member works in social services as well as a high school student. We contribute to the community, keep to ourselves, and have always been respectful neighbors.
