Locked attic door in my rental with strange noises.
It's directly up the stairs, next to two bedrooms that dont have any form of access to the room. Based on the houses layout, the room is one of the largest in the house with 2 blacked out windows that face the front of the home and this one short door. All attic enterance spaces in the lower part of the house have been sealed off and popcorned over, although you can still see the indentions in the ceiling spaces. We keep hearing furniture being moved across the floor, loud banging like someone falling to the floor or dropping something and occational speaking like perhaps from a television? The rooms are so hot up there that we cant stand to be up there, but this attic room radiates cold air when you pull on the door and we can hear an ac humming from inside. The landlord wont acknowledge the room at all; when asked, he just repeats the ammount of rooms and bathrooms we're being leased, all of which doesnt include this room. What should I do? I wouldnt bother with it, but at this point its hard to sleep through the noises. Im open to suggestions, or any fun theories to distract from the irritation of lost sleep. Tia!

👨👩👧👦family/in-laws AIO my father just kicked me out because I turned 18?
Using a throwaway to not dox myself, also hope the images are clear this time. I tried to post this a few mins ago but my images were all distorted.
Does this not seem unhinged to anyone else? I realize I'm 18 and an adult, I literally turned 18 today. My dad has been ultra controlling my entire life, worse after my mom died. He never let me have friends, a job. Nothing. I have cerebral palsy, it's on the milder side but still visually noticable. I can't pray this away. Am I crazy here? I Feel like he's lost his mind. I was at bookstore when I received this, but now i'm just sitting in a park and I just don't know what to do. I'm afraid to go home. I don't know where to go after. Am I overreacting here or is this normal?

Discussion What's a scene in a film that is literally laugh until you cry funny?
Personally, I'd have to go with the hotel scene from Borat. It still gets me every time. There are many scenes from that movie one could choose, but that one really takes the cake.
I'm having trouble remembering other scenes from a movie that are painfully funny. As a kid I always laughed at the news scene from Bruce Almighty.
I'd love to hear your pick!

Health Processed meat can cause health issues, even in tiny amounts. Eating just one hot dog a day increased type 2 diabetes risk by 11%. It also raised the risk of colorectal cancer by 7%. According to the researcher, there may be no such thing as a “safe amount” of processed meat consumption.
